The 11 th Textech Bangladesh 2010 International Exposition, a comprehensive exhibition of the country’s textile and readymade garments sectors, begins in the capital on July 28. Over 400 exhibitors from 26 countries including hosts Bangladesh will participate in the four-day international fair of latest textiles machinery and garments accessories at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre.

Commerce minister Faruk Khan will inaugurate the exhibition to showcase world class technology and material manufactures in Bangladesh under one roof. The exposition is expected to boost the export of garment products as the sector still has untapped areas, fair organising company Conference and Exhibition Management Services Limited’s president and group managing director Meherun N Islam told a press conference in Dhaka on Wednesday.

New Age, Shamakal and Radio Aamar are the media partners, while the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Washington Hotel and Sarina Hotel are the hotel partners for the event. The exhibition will remain open to visitors from 10:30am to 7:00pm.
