Techtextil and Texprocess, the leading international trade fairs for technical textiles, nonwovens and for processing textile and flexible materials, are set to take place from 9-12 May this year in Frankfurt, where the Innovative Apparel Show 2017 will be presenting their visionary designs for technical textiles created with modern processing technologies. Messe Frankfurt, the world’s largest trade fair, congress and event organizer with its own exhibition grounds, will organize the show and it is expected that the event will become much more internationally oriented.
Exhibitors and visitors can experience with the new apparel textiles and processing technologies at the Innovative Apparel Show. On all the days of Techtextil and Texprocess, international colleges of fashion and design will present their new clothing ideas and innovative processing technologies live and in an unconventional way.
Visionary designs based on the themes “Textile Effects”, “Creative Engineering” and “Smart Fashion” from four international fashion schools will be present. They will display their technical textiles or functional apparel textiles that use modern processing technologies in the form of a fashion show every day of the trade fair. Fashion schools from France, Portugal, Italy and Germany will take part in the show, according to an official release.
The young designers will display their ideas and experiments. The participating schools in 2017 include the international fashion school ESMOD from Paris, France; ESAD College of Art and Design from Matosinhos, Portugal; The Accademia Italiana, the fashion, design and photography school from Florence, Italy and Hochschule Trier, a school specializing in fashion design from Germany.
The stage shows for the ‘Innovative Apparel Show 2017’ will take place twice daily.
The event for choosing best design, Innovative Apparel Public Award 2017 will give chance to the audience throughout the entire fair, as a public prize will once again be awarded for the outfits that are presented on the catwalk. The prizes will be presented on the last day of the trade fair.
