‘Signature Denim’ being used as sunglasses

Following a successful product launch, Brazilian denim specialist VICUNHA and English Sunglasses producer MOSEVIC are continuing their cooperation in 2017 under the headline‘Signature Denim’, according to a press statement.  This season, the new designs made from ‘Solid Denim’, a specially developed fabric resin composite, was created in ‘Ever Black’, a classic fabric from the VICUNHA range, informed the release.

The press release pointed out that the number of frame styles has increased from four to six as ‘Cassini S and L’, ‘Burnell’, ‘Halley’, ‘Janssen’ and ‘Kepler’. Different layers of denim are bonded with resin and solidified before the glasses are sanded into shape and polished by hand. High-quality Carl Zeiss Vision polarized lenses round off the meticulous production process, resulting in unique, handcrafted sunglasses. The frames of the solid sunglasses are made at MOSEVIC’s own workshop in Cornwall in the UK.
