American & Efird Bangladesh Ltd. organized a ‘Dengue Awareness and Blood Donation Campaign’ on 29 August.
Angelo Leanage, Managing Director of A&E Bangladesh inaugurated the campaign in Gazipur’s Islampur area where the company’s manufacturing plant is situated. Other high officials of the company were also present in the half-day long campaign.
Employees of A&E Bangladesh put together a rally in the area surrounding A&E’s manufacturing plant and distributed leaflets among the locals.
Later on, mosquito nets and aerosol spray were distributed among the local families. A&E also carried out a cleaning activity in the said area. Alongside, banners portraying information on how to prevent dengue were also put up. A&E employees also donated blood, with support from Sandhani.
The campaign has been carried out as a part of A&E Bangladesh’s CSR program, which the company holds regularly. Through this campaign, A&E Bangladesh has expressed its utmost concern regarding the dengue fever crisis that is going on in the country.
A&E Bangladesh is proud to be able to play its part in this highly discussed crisis, which needs more and more awareness.
