Afsana Ferdousi, Department Head of Sustainable Design and Development of TEAM Group won the 7th Inspiring Women Award for Female in Fashion Category on 31 March at a hotel in Dhaka.
A total of 17 women got awards for their contributions in 14 categories.
Afsana Ferdousi said, “Who doesn’t like the recognition of work if it is for their passion, love work. Fashion design has brought me destiny in this profession, and for this, I consider myself very lucky.”
“Thank you. Because today is all about my profession, and a lot of honor, love for this work. The award I received on March 31st, I think, not only evaluated my work, it inspired me to do better,” Afsana Ferdousi added.
She said, “I am really happy and what makes me feel better is that I can share this joy with my colleagues in TEAM Group.”
Afsana Ferdousi is a very gifted and expert fashion designer and artist. She is known for her excellent fashion aptitude and good communication skills to deal with stakeholders. Her fashion design style comprises a blend of modern and traditional styles and has a great depth of understanding of innovation.
