To protect the health of women workers and workers Ananta Group installed a sanitary napkin vending machine in its Factory premises in collaboration with Bkash, a Mobile Financial Service, from which female workers and staff can get the Napkins without going to any shopkeepers. This vending machine will ensure easy access to menstrual hygiene to the female workers and staff of Ananta Garments Ltd.

The installation and launching ceremony of the Vending Machine was carried out in presence of the top officials of Ananta and Bkash. Inamul Haq Khan, Managing Director of Ananta, M Sajedul Karim, DMD and the Chief Commercial Officer of Bkash Ali Ahmmed were present at the ceremony.
This initiative will make menstrual hygiene more accessible and cheaper for around 4,000 female workers and staff.

Female workers and staff of the factory appreciated the move saying that such an initiative not only gives them easy access to get pads but also it will raise awareness among people.
Ananta focuses entirely on the clothing Industry. The plants have over 7000 modern machines for a total production capacity of between 2.4 million pcs of garments per month depending on items and style. With 15000 employees of both production and management teams are dedicated to achieving clients’ production goals.
