Arkay Knit Dyeing Mills of Palmal Group achieves LEED Gold certification

Arkay Knit Dyeing Mills – a concern of Palmal Group – received the LEED Gold Certification from the US Green Building Council (USGBC). Arkay Knit Dyeing Mills is the first Knit dyeing factory in Bangladesh that got LEED Gold certification from USGBC.

Initiated in 2013, Arkay Knit Dyeing Mills set an exemplary level of sustainability and received LEED Gold certification.

Arkay Knit Dyeing Mills achieved compliance certification from GOTS, OEKOTEX, RCS, OCS and membership certificate from BGMEA.

Bangladesh now has the most number of green garment factories in the world with the LEED certification given by the USGBC.

At present, nine of the top 10 green garment factories and 40 of the top 100 are located in Bangladesh.
