Association of Textile Engineers, Bangladesh (ATEB) – an organization for all government textile engineering colleges combined in Bangladesh – organized an iftar mahfil and discussion program on 22nd April 2022 at Powell Convention Center, Uttara, Dhaka. At the iftar event more than 300 textile engineers from all govt. textile colleges were present in the program.

Md. Nuruzzaman, Director General, Department of Textiles, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was the Chief Guest in this grand program.
The event started with ATEB’s logo unveiling a welcome speech by each campus representative. After Iftar, principals from each campus exchanged their opinions and gave direction for the long run of the association. They focused on working on a common platform, exchanging expertise and knowledge and strong bonding between campuses.
Md. Nuruzzaman in his speech gave a clear vision and plan for textile engineers. He assured the Department of Textiles is already working on research and development (R&D) of the campuses to enhance the textile education in the country.
He appreciated the effort of ATEB and assured his support to build up the intercampus bonding.
