Commonwealth Scholarship (CSC) has invited Prof. Dr. Eng. Ayub Nabi Khan – an honorable Alumni of CSC – to participate as one of the speakers in the CSC London and North West Regional Network-based virtual event ‘Life After Commonwealth Scholarship: How to Bring out the Best for Greater Impact’. To be held on Saturday 27 June 2020 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm (BST).
The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC) provides the main UK government scholarship scheme led by international development objectives.
The CSC is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department for International Development (DFID).
The CSC operates within the framework of the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) and is a vivid demonstration of the UK’s enduring commitment to the Commonwealth.
Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan currently holds the position of Pro-Vice-Chancellor of BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology.
He obtained an MSc and a Ph.D. degree in Textile Technology from the University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology UMIST, Manchester, UK. under Commonwealth Scholarship and fellowship plan.
Ayub Nabi is the first Bangladeshi who won the International Holden Medal award for Education by ‘The Textile Institute, Manchester, UK’ for his outstanding contributions in technology-based education at the levels.
