Bangladesh observed a double-digit growth of %17.67 in brassieres export to USA. As per the OTEXA data, in January to June (H1) period of 2022, Bangladesh exported brassieres worth $96.06 million.
As per the latest OTEXA data, USA imported $1.64 billion in H1 ’22. Witnessing a 19.32% on Y-o-Y basis.
Among the top exporting destinations China, Vietnam, Indonesia and Sri Lanka and Bangladesh – consisted over 73%.
Among the top brassieres exporting countries in the USA – China exported brassieres worth $540.22 million, growing by 15% in H1 2022. Followed by Vietnam, exported $349.23 million, witnessing by 30.85%. Indonesia fetched $197.14 million, up by 53%.
Sri Lanka exported $143.10 million worth of brassieres to the USA in the first half of 2022, growing by 11.26% on Y-o-Y.
