Bangladesh industrial innovation & development expo 2019 to commence tomorrow

10th edition of ‘Bangladesh Industrial Innovation & Development (BIID) expo and dialogue 2019’ will commence tomorrow at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre-BICC, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Sustainable & Renewable Energy Development Authority-SREDA & Power Division, Ministry of Power, Energy & Mineral Resources in collaboration with ExpoNet Exhibition Pvt. Ltd. is going to organize this annual greening dialogue among government – buyers – seller – technology manufacturers and associate stakeholders under international platform to rise various win-win opportunities and chances.

In the three days expo–from 18 to 20 July–different green machines will be displayed also.

Bangladesh’s RMG and textile sector, has taken the lead in environment-friendly, ‘green’ manufacturing as it has established 67 eco-friendly green buildings, the highest number in the world. Aiming to cut back on carbon emission, the green factories in Bangladesh have been set up with eco-friendly technology and are using energy-saving machinery, harvesting rainwater, and using solar panels and servo motor for power generation.

To encourage all industries to establish eco-friendly factories GARKNITEX INNOVATION would cover business networking, policy framing, knowledge sharing and technology display annually but it has series International networking access round the year. Technology interaction, business negotiation and knowledge networking are the key focusing area of the expo and dialog.

‘Sustainable Industry for Green Textile; Prospects and Obstacles’ is the dialogue title in the GARKNITEX DIALOGUE-2019 where H.E. Mr. Tipu Munshi, Commerce Minister will be the key speaker.
