Solar accounts for 546MW of generation capacity in a nation.”

In terms of Bangladesh’s perspective – rooftop solar PV projects are the best source of green energy source out of the huge amount of empty roofs. In addition, Bangladesh’s textile and apparel factories alone have around 12.80 million square meters of rooftop space that have the potential to generate at least 350 MW of electricity.

Md. Mohin Habib, said that the country has the potential to generate more than 4,000MW of electricity with rooftop solar plants.

The energy transition is larger and quicker in Bangladesh. Business strategies need to be dynamic and requires right information for decision-making. The program features a wide range of insightful discussions on business strategies adopted by leaders of both the Rooftop and Utility sectors for sustainable growth.
