BD Merchandiser Hub (BMH) arranged a get-together at Uttara in Dhaka, on 23 October, 2018 where Bangladesh Textile Today was the media partner of the event. BMH was established on 1 October 2018 in Bangladesh as a non-political professional organization of the merchandisers.

With more than 200 merchandisers (members) of different companies with four members founding committees, BMH launched its activities from 26 October this year. And BMH has become the leading merchandiser’s association of Bangladesh right now.
One of the conveners Shohel Arman conducted the event where Sayeed Mahmud Sabbir, Founding President, Nurul Alam Rana, Join Convenor and Tareque Mahmud Tamin, Join Convenor of the association spoke at the program. Country Managers, GM’s, Managers, Sr. Merchandisers were also present on the occasion.
Textile Today will work with BMH for the capacity building of the members of the association in future.
Nurul Alam stated, “A merchandiser is the bridge between the industry and the buyer. The job of a merchandiser is to coordinate with the entire department in the office as well as the customers. The merchandiser is the one who creates a good relationship in between exporter and buyer. In this regard, we need to build a strong relationship between members.”

He further said, “We want to work with Bangladesh Textile Today for the betterment of BMH as Textile Today is doing great for the country as well.”
Sanjoy Kumar Saha, Manager Industry Engagement & Sub Editor of Textile Today, congratulated BMH for bringing all the merchandisers under one umbrella and emphasized to keep on continuing the pace.
Textile Today is transforming the precious human capital through its comprehensive training program, he added.
“Textile Today will work with BMH for the capacity building of the members of the association in future,” he promised.
The organization started its activities with the confidence of Bangladesh garment industry’s merchandisers. The door of membership of BMH is open for all the merchandisers in Bangladesh.
