Bangladesh-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BGCCI), one of the largest bilateral chambers operating in Bangladesh, held its 20th annual general meeting (AGM) with its large number of members at Sheraton, Dhaka on 2 August.

In the event Hoda Vasi Chowdhury and Co. was selected as auditor for 2022, which was proposed by M Maksud, Managing Director, Corona Engineering, and seconded by Asif Ariff Tabani.
Also, BGCCI Executive Board and Ambassador of Germany to Bangladesh Achim Troster participated at the AGM.
At the AGM, BGCCI President highlights their activities during 2021. The annual report was proposed by two prominent members, Omar Sadat and seconded by Anwar Shahid.
Basically, BGCCI is a trusted name among the German and Bangladeshi businesses. It has been working as a catalyst of accelerating economic growth for both of the partner countries.
Additionally, being an independent, member driven bilateral trade organization, BGCCI is known for its vast network in home and abroad.
During the event, The Senior Vice President of BGCCI Tarun Patwary presented the audited financial report for the year 2021, which was proposed by Anwar Shahid and seconded by Depok Kumar Baral.
Vice President of BGCCI Ibnul Wara and the other office bearers responded to the questions raised in the open discussion. In the end, Senior Vice President of BGCCI Muin Uddin Mazumder gave the vote of thanks.
