BGMEA urges BIDA for an effective business-friendly environment

BGMEA President Faruque Hassan urges BIDA for an effective business-friendly environment and to improve the ease of doing business in Bangladesh to attract more investment in the country, especially in non-cotton or man-made fibre (MMF) based textiles.

Recently a delegation of BGMEA headed by President Faruque Hassan paid a call on Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Md. Sirazul Islam at BIDA office.

They also discussed specific issues being faced by a number of liaison offices of foreign buyers in Bangladesh and requested BIDA to address them.

The BGMEA delegation included Vice President Miran Ali, Directors Inamul Haq Khan (Bablu), Asif Ibrahim, Asif Ashraf, Abdullah Hil Rakib, Barrister Vidiya Amrit Khan,  and Mijanur Rahman.

BIDA Executive Members Mohsina Yasmin, Md.  Shaifullah Mokbul Murshed, and Avijit Chowdhury, among others, were present at the meeting.
