What can you expect at ITMA 2019?

Once every four years the textile machinery industry comes together for a mammoth exhibition. Preparations are well underway for this year’s international trade show for textiles and garment production.

ITMA is the trendsetting textile and garment technology platform where the industry converges every four years to explore fresh ideas, effective solutions and collaborative partnerships for business growth.

Organized by ITMA Services, the upcoming ITMA will be held from 20 to 26 June 2019 in Barcelona at Fira De Barcelona, Gran Via. Technological innovation, a basic of industry transformation, is pivotal to the success of the textile and garment industry and ITMA 2019 provides an unrivaled marketplace and knowledge platform.

This year ITMA is expected to feature

1,600 exhibitors across 19 Industrial sectors of textiles and garment manufacture.

Brand identification and garment labeling will be at the heart of its presentation for 2019 with live demonstrations across the range of exhibits.

Focus Label Machinery’s market leading LX range will feature quick-change facilities display for high quality multicolor, volume production of printed Ribbons, Elastics and garment labels.

The new dTex digital press will be demonstrated for the first time at any exhibition. The systems feature variable data printing without the need for printing plates.

The single pass digital ink jet system is capable of full color (CMYK) printing for narrow ribbon applications such as Elastics, Ribbons and Garment or Care labels. A number of options are available on Ink, special Drying and finishing system combinations.

The use of ‘Heat Transfers’ is growing in many areas of garment brand identification, promotion and labeling, especially in performance apparel & skin contact clothing.

Focus will show its latest Tagtrans 225 system which is a fully integrated system of Silk Screen printer, powder adhesive applicator, drier, slitting & re-winder for production of Roll to Roll Transfers on Paper or Film substrates.
