‘Career Adda’ shows path to overcome barriers

Bangladesh University of Textiles Career Club (BUTEXCC) organized a knowledge session titled, ‘Career Adda’ supported by “Officina+39” under its on-going initiatives to inspire students through personal success stories of experts who are building their own trail with hard-work and innovativeness.

On January 22, Tuesday, 2019 ‘Officina+39’ collaborated with BUTEX Career Club to hold a first of its kind interactive session between students and the textile industry leaders where ATM Mahbubul Alam Milton, Executive Director, Masco Group; Mohammad Monjur Hasan, Director, Marketing Business Development, Meghna Executive Holdings; Engr. Md. Nasir Ullah, Country Manager, Officina+39 – Fashion and Sustainable Chemicals were the guest speakers who shared beneath stories of success towards becoming a leader in the textile industry.

These leaders of the textile and apparel industry inspired the students by sharing their experiences on how they choose to follow their passion for growth and making a significant impact in the textile industry of Bangladesh.

ATM Mahbubul Alam Milton motivated students with his influential speech on the power of habit and he also shared about how passion, knowledge, courage, decision making skill, and communication skill can become helpful for a person for the growth towards a successful career.

Mohammad Monjur Hasan spoke on ‘Brain Engineering’ and also talked on how interpersonal skills can assist a person in career journey of life.

On the other hand, Engr. Md. Nasir Ullah showed how textile engineers can establish their place in the industry in the present competitive environment with foreigners and Nasir Ullah also elaborated on the importance of subject wise skill development.

More than 120 students attended the event and felt motivated as all the respected guests answered their questions on how to overcome the barriers for dreaming big. They also discussed on the probable future growth and the bright days ahead of the RMG industry of Bangladesh.
