Another new milestone of the BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) has been achieved on 30 July, 2019 at Dunedin Polytechnic, New Zealand with signing an MoU on education and research collaboration between BUFT and world leading fashion education center of excellence Otago Polytechnic.

Muzaffar U Siddique, BUFT Founder Chairman and Phill Ker, CEO, Otago Polytechnic signed the MoU in the presence of Bangladesh Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi MP.
BUFT founder members were present in the prestigious and ceremonial signing ceremony including Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin, former President Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI); Md. Siddiqur Rahman, former President, Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), S. M. Mannan, Vice President, BGMEA and Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, acting Vice Chancellor of BUFT.

Collaboration will be carried out on student through faculty exchange, Jt. research on sustainable fashion and faculty development through training.
