Fortnightly Alfa Magazine handed over ‘Alfa Star Award 2017’ to some professionals for their special contribution in writing columns. The award giving ceremony was held on 23 July, 2017 as a part their “16 years celebration of Alfa Magazine” at Central Public library in the city.
Md. Atikur Rahman, Head Public Relations Officer, BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) received Alfa Star Award 2017 as a columnist. Advocate Sahara Khatun MP was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Justice Md Mohammad Mamataj Uddin, Chairman, Bangladesh Press Council was the key note speaker on the occasion. Golam Kuddus, President, Joint Cultural Party; Mr. Omar Faruque, General Secretary, Bangladesh Federal Press Council; Alfa Magazine Editor Al-Amin Salim were also present in the occasion.
