Competent young team drifting Sister Denim’s wheel

Bangladesh is the top denim products supplier in the US and EU markets. Right now, 40 denim factories are producing around 280 lac metres of denim fabrics in Bangladesh, up 40% from five years ago.

Sister Denim Composite Ltd. is one of the factories contributing to national export since 2014. It is a sister concern of Thermax Group which founded by visionary leader and businessman Abdul Kadir Molla. Thermax Group has 14 factories includes full garments supply chain.

Sister Denim Production excellence

The factory has set the industry benchmark in production efficiency. They are using all top-notch latest machineries and regularly fine tuning the production process to get best output.

Md. Obaydul Hoque, Director Production said, “We are at least 17% efficient than other factories.”

Sister Denim has 10,000 own developed fabrics. They do average 20 percent special fabrics of their capacity based on customer requirements.

The factory has the largest advanced Biological ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) in Bangladesh with capacity 9000m3/day, along with extension facility up to 15000m3/day.

They also use all certified dyes and chemicals to create low impact on the environment.

One of the specialties of the factory is they have all over printing (AOP) facility which usually others denim factory does not have. For this unique facility buyers prefer them as they have one stop solution.

Green initiatives

  • 75 % reuse of condensed water in boiler
  • Caustic Recovery Plant (CRP) saves caustic of around 15 ton/month
  • EGB boiler steam around 4 ton/hr. is produced by Generator exhaust temperature which saved around 280 m3/hr. gas consumption
  • 7 to 8% energy saving by using Economizer in boiler
