CTEC Career Club organizes resume writing webinar to upskill fresh graduates

CTEC Career Club – the career consulting platform of Textile Engineering College, Zorargonj, Chattogram – organized a webinar titled ‘Resume Writing for Freshers’ on 8 January 2022.

In the webinar Engineer Md. Ali Azam Rokon, Principal, Textile Engineering College was present as the Chief Guest. While, Mohammad Zakaria, Managing Director’s Secretariat, Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd was present as the special guest of the event.

Ali Azam Rokon gave an energetic inaugural speech of the webinar.

While Zahidul Hoq Chowdhury, President of CTEC Alumni Association ‘The Ctexians’ and Senior Merchandiser of ZXY International was the keynote speaker. Md. Riyad Arefin, Merchandiser of ZXY International and also a former student of the institution played his part by being the presenter of the webinar. Najim Uddin, President of CTEC Career Club conducted the webinar.

Hundreds of students studying in the Department of Textile Engineering of different universities of Bangladesh and many professional personalities took part in the webinar.

Speakers gave their valuable instructive speeches on all the nuances of the Professional Resume, starting with the differences between a CV and a Resume with the students.

Najim Uddin said, “The event was organized to prepare the students from the very beginning of their education by making them realize the need for a standard resume for any need of personal life or to build a career in the corporate realm.”

The principal and teachers appreciated the eagerness of the students.

The webinar also provided many career-related directions. Guests shared their experiences on how employers find qualified people in thousands of resumes. Writing a resume live online makes the webinar more animated through which the students get a complete idea about writing a resume.

A question-and-answer session was held at end of the three-hour-long webinar.

In the conclusion part, the moderator of the club and lecturer of the college Engineer Md. Saiful Islam declared the completion of the event with his closing speech.
