Curtain falls for the Auko-Tex presents BUTEXDC National Debate Fest 2022

Auko-Tex presents BUTEXDC National Debate Festival 2022 has ended successfully with grand manner. The trademark hospitality and smooth arrangement of BUTEXDC once again proved its courage.

The program started on 23 September. English British Parliamentary Debate was introduced for the first time. The event was named ‘Entwine 1.0’.  32 teams took part in the English segment.

The champion of the Novice final was AUWDC A and the runner-up was IBAJUDC A. IBA DU A was crowned champion in the open final and CUDS A became runner-up. Raiyan Husain of SSMC A was announced as the best speaker of this segment.

In the school-college segment, 32 teams were registered. TEAM XDC was the champion and FRIIDC Alkyne was the runner-up in school level. In college level champion team was DCDS rDNA and runner-up RDS Ekush. Best speaker of the school level is Siam Al Noman Shishir. Zulqar Nayeen and Ahnaf Zeenan were judged as the best speakers at the college level.

University level Bangla Asian Parliamentary debate was held on 30 September and 01 October. On 01 October the prize giving ceremony and cultural night were also arranged. UIUDC Orange was crowned the champion and CUDS A took the runner-up trophy. Debater of the tournament was Hasib Khan (CUDS A) and Debater of the final was Abdullah Al Habib Badhon.

The guests of the final ceremony were big names in our country. Chief guest was Professor Md. Abul Kashem, Vice Chancellor, Bangladesh University of Textiles. As special guests, the event was honored with the presence of Engr. Abdus Sobhan, A.K. Azad, Engr. ATM Mahbunul Alam Milton, Syed Md. Ismail, Md. Selim Reza, Engr. Abdur Rashid, Aiasha Siddiqua. The guests applauded the works of BUTEXDC and wished to see more and more success. In the ceremony, trophies and crests were handed over to the winners.

After the formal sessions, a cultural program was organized by the students. After that “Shohojia” and “Ark” performed in the concert.
