Department of Textile Engineering, AUST installs CCI miniature weaving machine

Department of Textile Engineering (DTE) of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) organized an inauguration ceremony to set up CCI miniature weaving (single end sizing, warping and miniature loom) machine on October 25, 2022. They set up the machine at Fabric Manufacturing Laboratory of the Department of Textile Engineering.

AUST becomes the pioneer among private universities in Bangladesh to set a distinctive example by introducing such an exclusive and complete package in sampling solution of weaving.

The CCI miniature weaving set-up was inaugurated by Kazi Rafiqul Alam, Chairman, Board of Trustees of AUST. Professor Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Vice-Chancellor; Professor Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Professor Dr. Mustafizur Rahman, Treasurer of AUST graced the occasion with their kind presence. The Deans of Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Architecture and Faculty of Business and Social Science were also among the invitees. Md. Nazmul Hasan, Director of Spintex Technology Ltd. (Supplier of CCI miniature weaving set-up) also attended the occasion.

Professor Dr. Lal Mohan Baral, Head of DTE welcomed the guests on behalf of the department. The distinguished guests expressed their satisfaction for the successful acquisition of such state-of-the-art set of machines in AUST.

All the faculty members, officers and staffs of DTE were present and actively participated to make the ceremony successful.
