Dhaka to host major international textile exhibition TexTech

CEMS-Global USA, in association 'CEMS Bangladesh', has announced 3 comprehensive International Exhibitions focusing the entire Textile & Garment sector of Bangladesh in names of : '17th TexTech Bangladesh International Expo 2016', '25th Dye+Chem Bangladesh Expo 2016' and '10th Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show 2016', that is scheduled from 31st August to 3rd September at International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka.

The Textile & Clothing (T& C) Industry of South Asia has been very important for this region’s economy also providing major chunk of global T& C demand. Keeping in mind the potential of this sector and to further boost the industry and its investment, CEMS-Global is organizing the TexTech series of Exhibitions since 17 years in Bangladesh. Eventually the exhibition has become the oldest & one of the biggest International Exhibitions of its kind in the country.
There is a need for such exhibition in Bangladesh which displays the latest technology that the country can obtain to update with the quality of the competitors in the world market. CEMS-Global being the first ever Exhibition Organizer of Bangladesh to have organized an International Exhibition on Textile & Garment Technology & Machinery in Bangladesh 17 years back, has been working to cater the market demand.
This year nearly 1050 companies from over 23 countries along with important industry associations are participating in three concurrent exhibitions. These 3 exhibitions namely TexTech, Dye+Chem and Yarn & Fabric Show is in one go targeted to the entire business community will play an important role by assembling worldwide technology, machinery and material manufacturers at the doorsteps of the manufacturers of Bangladesh under one roof to appraise them of the latest developments and technology available enabling Bangladesh to further compete in the World market. Bangladesh is presently the 2nd largest Garment exporter in the world.
As per the information of the organizers, since its inception in 1992, CEMS-Global, in this span of over 20 years has made a commendable presence as a multinational exhibition organizer in South & South-East Asia with its operations in 8 countries. CEMS organizes over 40 exhibitions per annum on all important sectors of the trade and economy. In the current context of Bangladesh such an exhibition is very important for Bangladesh. When foreigners are taking caution in visiting Bangladesh after Gulshan Restaurant terror attack in Dhaka, it is going to be a major international gathering in the town. CEMS Global President and Group Managing Director Meherun N. Islam told that they are quite aware of the security situation and has taken all necessary steps to make sure full proof security for the exhibitors and visitors. She welcomed all to visit the exhibition without any hesitation.
The Exhibitions will be open for trade and business visitors only every day from 10.30 am to 7.30 pm upon registration at the expo venue.
