DTG 2020 schedule changed to Jan 2021

The Dhaka Int’l Textile & Garment Machinery Exhibition (DTG) authority has announced that due to the unprecedented impact of COVID-19, the 17th  edition the exhibition will be held from 28th to 31st January 2021 at the same venue.

The organizers Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd. announced it on 13 April in a statement.

The World Health Organization has declared a global pandemic as the coronavirus rapidly spreads across the world. Bangladesh Govt. has started to carry out a series of disease prevention and control measures to stem the spread of virus. International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) might also be converted into hospital to treat Covid-19 patients as well.

“DTG being one of the most important industrial events in Bangladesh, health and safety is always our top priority. Due to this force majeure of pandemic, we decide to postpone the scheduled DTG to 2021,” said the statement.

However, DTG online expo will be continuously operating to promote exhibitors’ products on official website and e-newsletters.

“You can keep updating the company and product information with previous username / password,” the statement mentioned.
