HSBC awards Envoy Textiles, Pacific Jeans Group and Malek Spinning on Export Excellence

Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) Ltd. honored Envoy Textiles Limited, Pacific Jeans Group and Malek Spinning Group at the 2nd HSBC Business Excellence Awards.

Envoy Textiles Limited has been awarded the 2nd HSBC Business Excellence Award on Export Excellence in Supply Chain and Backward Linkage, 2022 category, for having an annual export turnover of more than $10 million.

While Pacific Jeans Group won in the category of export excellence in readymade garments (RMG) for having an annual export turnover of more than $50 million.

Malek Spinning Group won the award for excellence in sustainability.

Kutubuddin Ahmed, Chairman of Envoy Textiles Limited, received the award on behalf of the board. Tanvir Ahmed, Director of Envoy Textiles & BGMEA, and the senior management team of the company were also present.

Tipu Munshi, MP, Honourable Commerce Minister was the chief guest at the event. While Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, Honourable State Minister, Information and Communications Technology Division as the guest of honor. H.E. Robert Chatterton Dickson, British High Commissioner to Bangladesh and Md. Jashim Uddin, President, FBCCI were present as special guests.

The award-giving ceremony was adorned with the presence of and Amanda Murphy, General Manager, Head of Commercial Banking, HSBC, South and South East Asia also joined the program.
