Tangail Textile Institute, a renowned Government Textile Diploma Engineering Institute of the country at Bajitpur Road, Tangail Sadar. Former students of the institute joined to enjoy a rocking reunion festivity on their campus. on December 30, 2011 which has been organized by Ex-Students’ Association of Tangail Textile Institute (ESATTI ). The ex-students talked about their student days and tried to recall many small memories of the days of the campus. They appreciated the natural beauty of the campus as it was not having so many flower gardens and large trees those initial days.

Engr. Shafiqur Rahman, Ex-Secretary General of ITET & Managing Director of HAMS Group was the Chief Guest while Engr. Md.Mufazzal Hossain, Director, Department of Textiles was Inaugurator at the event. Engr.Fazrul Karim Kamrul, President of Bangladesh Textile Museum , Habib Md. Shahiduzzaman , General Manager of Amazing Fashion Ltd, Engr.Md.Momtuz Uddin Ahmed, Ex-President of Bangladesh Textiles Shikkhok Samity, Engr, Abdul Mojid, Principal Incharge of Tangail Textile Institute were present as special guests. The function was presided over by Md. Arifuzzaman , President (2010-2011) of ESATTI. Many teachers and students of the institute were present to enjoy the grand event. Distinguished speakers highlighted the importance of such initiatives that brought all the previous and present students of the Institute under the same roof. Among the teachers, Engr.Abdul Mojid,Engr. Md. Momtaz Uddin, Md.Mostafizur Rahman, Md. Mohammad Ali and some other teachers gave speech. They said how proud they were as teachers of such a renowned institution and advised students to work hard to fulfill their ambitions. Md.Golam Kibria was the Convener of the Grand Reunion while Md. Arifur Rahman Siddique, Founder President of ESATTI was Chief Coordinator of the event. He organised the whole programme with a touch of excellence.
After the formal session ESATTI presented a cultural show performed by the students. Former students Shuvo, Saikat Munna, Imran and other participants kept the audience spellbound with their attractive voice and music. All participants, teachers appreciated the programmes and expressed their delight at being on the campus after so many years. “This reunion has taught many things. It helped explore and experience friendship and fellowship. It was full of excitement and great achievement for all.” ESATTI member Shuvo expressed his feelings.
