Gas crisis will solve in three months: Shahriar Alam

The industries and factories of the country are suffering from energy especially gas shortage, the gas problem will be solved within the next three months. In the meantime, the concerned ministries are working to resolve the crisis. State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam said this at the inaugural session of the two-day ‘Dhaka Apparel Summit’ at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital on 15 November.

Association of ready-made garment industry owners, BGMEA in association with Bangladesh Apparel Exchange (BAE) has organized a week long program titled ‘Made in Bangladesh Week-2022’ to promote branding and positive image of Bangladesh in the garment industry.

The president of the top organization of businessmen FBCCI, Jasim Uddin BGMEA president Faruque Hassan, BGMEA former president Abdus Salam Murshedi and Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin were also present at the event.

Meanwhile, the two-day Bangladesh Denim Expo has started at ICCB. 84 institutions from Bangladesh, China, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Pakistan, Singapore, Spain, Turkey, Vietnam, USA, San Marino and Hong Kong are participating in it. On the other hand, the three-day Dhaka Apparel Expo has been going on since Monday in another hall of ICCB. In this, 64 domestic and foreign companies are displaying their different types of clothes, fabrics and equipment.
