Green Building concepts in Bangladesh, especially in the textile and garment industry, is going strong. According to the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) data, as of May 30, 2022 Bangladesh has 161 US Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified green apparel factories, the highest among any country. Bangladesh is now the global leader in the area of ensuring sustainability.
Recently, Good & Fast Packaging Co. Limited – a renowned accessories company of LDC Group – signed an agreement with 360° Total Solution Ltd (TSL) to acquire green certifications. The signing ceremony was held on 26 May 2022 at the LDC Group premises in Gazipur.
