Green Smart Shirts Ltd has launched its modern design studio with a combination of local and foreign designers. After setting up the design studio, the company is getting more tangible and intangible benefits. Design studio supports them to get a competitive market advantage and to get customer preference.

“Most of the brands are focusing on sustainability. Fortunately, we built a GREEN FACTORY right from the beginning, which helped us to be one step ahead in the area of sustainability. Besides, our creative team with local and foreign designers also adds to our strength in design and product development. So our footprint in sustainability and our strength in design both are helping to attract the high-end brands,” said, Fateh Ul Islam, Managing Director and CEO of Green Smart Shirt Ltd (GSSL).

The concept of having own Design Studio mainly comes from the value-added service to the customers and another thing is that now many buyers and retailers/ brands are looking for design support from the suppliers in order to reduce cost at their end. Few buyers have chosen a hundred percent design from GSSL’s own development and some buyers are working combinedly, which is known as co-creation.

The company is mainly producing men’s formal & casual shirts, women’s formal & casual shirts, tops/ blouses, kid’s wear, sleepwear, school uniform, etc for world’s top-rated buyers like Next, Matalan, Arcadia, Primark, Best Seller, Mango, Costco, Sanctuary, Woolworths, Reliance.

Green Smart Shirts Ltd is highly motivated by their passion for fast fashion as well as product diversity and innovations. The dedicated in-house design team is constantly working on product innovations and fashion forecasts for international markets.

“We are specialized in manufacturing all woven garments. We have one of the best teams in place along with some expert expats in place to manage the entire business operation. We have done significant investment in technology and automation such as SAP, GSD and FR in order to enhance our efficiency and minimize wastage,” he added.

“We have a very highly motivated workforce of them 90% are female with less than 3% attrition rate. Each and every worker has own bank account and we pay monthly salary into their bank accounts. We are strongly driving our goal towards empowering the women workforce and making them financially sustainable” says Fateh ul Islam.
