GTMAT presents innovative machinery and technology.

Three days long international trade shows, including garments, machinery, technology and office ideas expo held from 9 to 11 November at International Convention City, (ICCB), in the capital to help the garments industry to move forward.

More than 100 exhibitors from Bangladesh, China, India, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Japan participated in the exhibitions and showcased the technology solutions related to productivity, safety, compliance, efficiency, and packaging.

Md. Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, ndc , former secretary, ministry of industries inaugurated the three trade shows, GTMAT, Office ideas expo- 2017 was organized by Kites International Trade & Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd.

Md Abdul Kader Khan, President, BGAPMEA said, “The packaging and accessories sector are contributing more in RMG sector to achieve the target of $50 billion by 2021. More than 30 products of packaging and accessories sector are required for RMG and those were used to import from abroad. We will always support Kites International Trade & Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd. from my association to arrange the exhibition.”

Mr. Mansoor Ahmed, First Vice President of Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BKMEA) said, “We need to arrange more advance technology, machinery exhibition for growing up our RMG Sector and also need to engage more expert people for controlling the machinery and technology. At present, competitive price, gas, power are the main challenges of RMG sector.” Mansur requested all to work together to make Bangladesh a middle-income country by 2021.

Md. Masudur Rahman, CEO, Total Lubricants; Md. Monirul Islam, Researcher, ZEF; Roksana Begum, Chairman, Kites International delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.  Total Lubricants were the co-sponsor at the exhibition.
