H&M to enter in Philippine with Monki

Swedish fashion group H&M (Hennes & Mauritz AB) plans to enter the Philippine market this summer with the Monki brand.

H&M in Philippine with Monki

Monki all about being brave, friendly and fun while empowering young women to stand up for themselves. Let’s dress how they want, love whose they want – and last but not least – remember to love themselves. Monki was founded in Sweden in 2006 by three close friends who wanted to step away from the same-sameness of high street fashion.

Monki is going to open two new largest shopping centers in Manila confirmed by Jennie Dahlin Hansson, Monki’s Managing Director. He also said, “We cannot wait to get to know a new market and welcome new customers to our global family.” While the brand will open its first outlet in the plush SM Megamall, the second store will be launched in the SM Mall of Asia.

The company said the retail spaces will be transformed into a world of glitter, mirrored walls and scallop detailing – with design features unique to each store, and unique to the Monki world.

Monki headquarters are located in Gothenburg, Sweden but the brand sells fashion for young women in stores in 13 markets and is available online in 18 markets at monki.com. It is a wild and crazy international retail concept that believes that it needs to fight ordinary and boost imagination with an experience out of the ordinary.
