Solar EPC Development Ltd. (SEPC) has successfully installed a 2.8MW rooftop solar project at AKH Knitting and Dyeing Ltd. (AKDL) – USGBC’s LEED Gold certified factory and a reputed 100% export-oriented composite knit factory.
The rooftop solar project at AKDL extension unit in Manikganj is considered as one of the biggest-scale rooftop solar projects in 2022.
For effective management of a solar PV plant, commissioning is an important step. Commissioning is the process that starts along with the construction of plants and proceeds through PV system acceptance. It also deals with the necessary documentation processes required for system acceptance.
Solar EPC Development Ltd and Huawei solar technologies local engineering team worked together for successful commissioning of 2.8 MW roof top solar PV power plant at AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd.
Liang Weixing (Jack), Managing Director; Leo Huang, Country Manager of Huawei Digital Power Business Group; Ezaz Al Qudrat A Mazid, Founder & Managing Director of Solar EPC Development Ltd and technical experts from both companies were visited the project on 5th July 2022 and observed the installation and the technical issues and the performance for commissioning the mega solar PV power plant project.
In this project Huawei Fusion Solar provides new generation string inverters with smart management technology to create a fully digitalized Smart PV Solution whereas Solar EPC Development Ltd. provides total quality, engineering and project management in this Mega solar PV project.
Solar EPC’s dedicated expert installation and commissioning team completed this behemoth roof-top solar PV power plant project installation process in AKH Knitting and Dyeing Ltd. within only 40 days. After the installation – Solar EPC’s dedicated maintenance team will look after the project after its successful commissioning.
By using solar energy, AKDL will reduce 3325 tons carbon annually. At the same time – it will lead AKDL to self-sufficiency in energy. Around 70% electricity the factory will get from the solar project.
Earlier, the company Solar EPC Development Ltd. already accomplished the 10 KW Floating Solar System at Mongla which is the first-ever floating solar system in Bangladesh.
SEPC-Premier Energies JV’s Mongla 10 MW Floating Solar Project is under approval process by the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources.
Apart from IPP utility-scale IPP projects, they have more than 10 MW cumulative capacity of OPEX and CAPEX model rooftop solar projects in pipeline and a 1 MW floating solar project at Khulna City Corporation (KCC).
