Humayun Kabir Salim to lead BGMEA’s Standing Committee on Cash Incentive

Humayun Kabir Salim, Managing Director, Khantex Fashion Ltd. nominated as the Chairman of the BGMEA’s Standing Committee on Cash Incentive for the year 2022-2023.

A recent letter signed by Faruque Hassan, President, BGMEA mandate the Standing Committee on Cash Incentive under the leadership of Humayun Kabir Salim for the year 2022-2023.

At the same time, the readymade garment (RMG) industry and as the leading body – BGMEA is preparing for the next growth phase based on an improved business model where diversification, innovation, automation and sustainability will be the key pillars, as well as the BGMEA members role, letter reads.

“So, the current Board decided to reorganize the Standing Committees of BGMEA to make them more functional and engaging,” the letter continues.

Humayun Kabir Salim’s dynamic involvement will make BGMEA more engaging, functional and accessible to the BGMEA members.

Humayun Kabir Salim has more than 30 years of extensive experience in the textile and apparel industry of Bangladesh. He has led numerous leading companies. And three years back started his own company Khantex Fashion Ltd. A LEED-certified green factory with versatile, and timely initiative.
