Huntsman Textile Effect and SwissColors Bangladesh Ltd, one of the global leaders in developing sustainable, high performing processing chemicals, jointly organized a customer seminar on 11 December titled ‘Sustainable Solution in Continues Processing “ at hotel Radisson blue garden in the capital, which attracted phenomenal crowd having more than 200 textile processers.
The seminar discussed sustainable solution in continuous process that means continuous bleaching, dyeing as well as finishing. In this seminar, Huntsman experts introduced its latest innovation chemistry, their application and advantages differentiated with existing system in global market for sustainable environmental improvement with ecological balance by minimizing energy, water as well as total utilities.

Utilize best available technologies to drive efficiency gains, increase productivity and improve long term sustainability to achieve the goal of 50 billion export by 2021.

HTE sustainable solutions for textile industry
Holger Schlaefke, Global Marketing Manager (Home Textiles), Huntsman Textile Effect, presented some key benefits of his company that has to offer to its Bangladesh customers. They highlighted different types of products such as, AVITERA® SE, NOVACRON® S, NOVACRON® C,NOVACRON® EC which are sustainable solution for textile industry .
AVITERA® SE is a range of tri-reactive dyes that provide low temperature and low consumption processing for cellulosic fibers and blends. NOVACRON®, which is a reactive range with excellent fastness, compatibility and reproducibility came up with new development that helps increase efficiency in dyeing and enhance fabric quality. NOVACRON® S is a range also provides top reproducibility and easy washing-off to meet today’s quality requirements.
NOVACRON® C is bi-reactive dyes that can form covalent bonds with cellulosic fibers in alkaline conditions. Their benefits include a high fixation rate, high reproducibility, fewer water effluent treatment problems and good fastness performance.
NOVACRON® Brilliant Yellow EC-4G offers a brilliant lemon yellow element, designed for dyeing at very short liquor ration, it has a very good washing-off and very good overall fastness. It also has a good combinability with all other NOVACRON® EC dyes.
At the end of the seminar the question and answer session was idea provocative and experts from Huntsman suggested remedies to customer problems.
