Jinnat Fashions bags Ethical Compliance Award-2021

DBL Group is a family-owned business that started in 1991. Over the years, the organization evolved into an amazing conglomerate in Bangladesh.

The businesses include apparel, Textiles, Textile Printing, Washing, Garments Accessories, Packaging, Ceramic Tiles, Pharmaceuticals, Dredging, Semiconductor Design (VLSI), ICT, and Telecommunications.

With a dedicated workforce of 39,000 employees, the annual turnover for the year 2018-19 was USD 600 Million.

DBL engaged in its first offshore business in Ethiopia for apparel and Textiles, creating employment opportunities for 4,500 people.

Today Jinnat Fashions Limited a concern of DBL Group has been awarded by George with the Ethical Compliance Award-2021.

The award has been given for environmental initiatives, engaging with industry standards, and driving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The award was announced at the first George Sustainability Conference held earlier this year.

Besides that, DBL is a Trustee Board member of CSR Center, founding member of Global Compact Network Bangladesh, member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC)- Bangladesh, Premier Corporate Member of Textile Institute, Manchester, and member of World Economic Forum.
