The group was founded in 1983, through the establishment of one of the first garments industries of Bangladesh. Over the past 40 years, KDS Group has reached this stage through innovation, dynamism, tireless hard work.
To be certified by the US Green Building Council (USGBC), one of the world’s greenest building certification bodies established in 1993, a project must meet the highest standards from construction to manufacturing under the supervision of the USGBC.
LEED Certified Green buildings are becoming a norm in Bangladesh as many builders are opting to construct energy-efficient, low-maintenance buildings.
The council honors factories based on several criteria – transformation performance, energy, water, and waste management. The best performers are rated with platinum, followed by gold and silver.
