Mango is affirming the importance of Italy as ‘one of its priority markets’. Recently Mango has opened another new store in the coastal city of Riccione, Italy.
This new store, located at Viale Ceccarini 2, one of the most historical spaces in town and close to the sea, has a selling space of 250 m2 and stocks the Women’s line.
For the company, this opening brings the total number of points of sale in Italy to 75, including both company and franchise stores.
Mango will keep on opening new stores in the country until the end of the year.
The Catalan clothing giant now has more than two thousand locations in 108 countries.
Mango reports a turnover of £1.8 billion in 2021, with online sales accounting for 42%. In 2021, Mango investment rose to £37 million representing an increase of 63.6% compared to the previous year.
Mango CEO Toni Ruiz said, “The year 2021 was also full of challenges and uncertainty, but we used the strength of the Mango brand to reinforce our position in the market, and at the same time increase our profitability, as we had promised.”
