MBABD organizes ‘Get Together 2022’ with 200+ merchandising professionals

Merchandising Brotherhood Association of Bangladesh (MBABD) organized a day-long get-together program for its members at Dhaka Resort on 21st February 2022. 200+ merchandising professionals from many buying houses, factories, and some key stakeholders have joined the program where Textile Today was the Media Partner.

MBABD has been formed to prepare merchandising professionals to face the challenges of the forthcoming Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).

Salauddin Chowdhury, Chairman, Stylish Garments Ltd; Maksuda Chowdhury Misha, Managing Director, Stylish Garments Ltd; Md Salauddin, Chairman, ASK Apparel & Head of Operations, BUNON and A.H.M. Kamruzzaman Chowdhury, Managing Director, SMB TEX Ltd. was present as Special Guest of the program. S.M Furkan, CEO at Apparel Signature presided and Nizam Uddin Dipu – Founder & CEO of MBABD hosted the program.

S.M Furkan gave the opening speech and said that they are aiming to make this association more effective for merchandising professionals. He’s also an honorary advisor of this association.

“Once we were in a crisis of educated and expert manpower in this apparel industry. But now we have many smart peoples like you and the industry is going ahead,” said Md Salauddin, Chairman, ASK Apparel & Head of Operations, BUNON.

He also advised the merchandisers to take ownership of the company which will eventually help to be an entrepreneur.

Maksuda Chowdhury Misha, Managing Director, Stylish Garments Ltd. said the merchandisers to be honest and agile in the workplace.

Salauddin Chowdhury, Chairman, Stylish Garments Ltd. assured that BGMEA will support any good initiative which will help to develop professionals’ skill-set.

The Merchandising Brotherhood Association Bangladesh (MBABD) is a non-political & non-profitable organization.
