MODIFI CEO meets BGMEA President to discuss global trade and Bangladesh’s garment industry

A delegation of MODIFI led by Nelson Holzner, CEO met with BGMEA President Faruque Hassan at the latter’s office in Gulshan, Dhaka on May 14.

BGMEA First Vice President, Syed Nazrul Islam; Vice President, Rakibul Alam Chowdhury; Minhazul Islam, Sales Director; Monjur Hossain, Sales Director MODIFI were also present on the occasion.

They had discussions over factors contributing to the growth of the apparel industry of Bangladesh, global market situation, and how MODIFI can give Bangladeshi exporters access to more liquidity and improve the way they participate in global trade.

MODIFI is a global FinTech company which was founded in 2018 in Berlin, Germany. MODIFI gives small and mid-sized exporters access to fast cash and protection against insolvency of their buyers abroad.

Along  with MODIFI, exporters can grant their buyers up to 150 days payment terms while still getting paid upfront by MODIFI.
