Neiderrhein University & UNIDO planning bachelor degree program in Bangladesh.
Textile sector is currently the main driving force behind Bangladeshs' economy. For taking the opportunities available and overcoming the threats of competition in tough world trade market, it should take initiatives to familiarize all concerns with technology.
The Neiderrhein University at Monchengladbach(D) is the largest educational establishment for technical experts of the textile and apparel sector in Europe. They have agreed to cooperate with United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) to develop Bangladesh’s Textile and Apparel sector.
UNIDO has a program named Bangladesh Quality Support Program. At the textile component of the project both UNDIO and Neiderrhein University jointly going to draw a rigorous scheme to improve the quality management system of the country to be accepted at international level, increase awareness on international quality standards and potential for exports.
They will offer it for all the concerns i.e. company executives, teachers and technologists of textile sector to introduce them with latest technologies from Monchengladbach. As soon as possible they also have a plan to start a bachelor degree course in Bangladesh.
