Pakistan textile exports earned $6.02 billion in July to October 2021 period. Registering a 26.55% growth in the first four months of the current 2021-22 fiscal year. Which was $4.76 billion in the previous 2020FY, as per the recently released data of Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).

Among the textile exports, cotton yarn grew by 71.39 percent to $394.76 million in July-October this year from $230.33 million last year.
While the exports of cotton fabric increased by 18.54 percent from $624.88 million to $740.71 million.
In addition, bedwear exports increased to $1.09 billion in July to October 2021 period from $899.55 million from the previous FY, observing a 21.30 percent annual growth.

Export of towels grew by 14.17 percent to $323.38 million; readymade garment (RMG) export grew by 22.34 percent to $1.16 billion; the export of art, silk and synthetic textile increased by 36.20 percent to $143.32 million; made-up articles (excluding bedwear and towels) exports increased by 11.55 percent to $268.58 million, whereas the exports of all other textile materials and commodities increased by 27.73 percent on Y-o-Y basis to $249.95 million.
