Prof. Dr. S. M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder joins as Pro-VC of Daffodil International University

Professor Dr. S. M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder has been appointed as the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Daffodil International University for the next 4 years as per approval of the Honorable President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Honorable Chancellor of Daffodil International University.

Earlier, Professor Majumder had been performing as the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of his first tenure at DIU.

Established in 2002, Daffodil International University (DIU) is a leading university in Bangladesh. The mission of the university is to turn out broadly educated and technology-oriented graduates capable of attaining meaningful career and making positive contributions to society.

University Grants Commission of Bangladesh rated the university in the top layer in its ranking of private universities. DIU is especially known for its ICT-based academic and administrative services. Academic programs of DIU are organized under five faculties.

The university offers bachelor’s and master’s programs in several areas of business, engineering, ICT and health sciences. DIU has conducted the fourth convocation so far.

DIU internationally collaborates with 200 plus countries. Students from many countries around the world are studying here. The university has affiliation/ membership with leading world organizations, like AUPF, IIE, EAIE, IAU, IAUP, NAFSA, Kauffman Foundation, ALA, UNAI, ESRUC, ACE, IEEE, ISTQB, ATIFTAF, etc.
