Jubaer Hossain Asif said that it is our opportunity at this crisis moment to get orders for protective clothing. Now huge volumes of orders for PPE and mask orders are coming in Bangladesh. We got projections of around 6 lacs pcs for the Brazil market.
Four countries have already sent demand letters to Bangladesh for sourcing high-quality PPE. These countries are USA, Kuwait, Nepal, Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh has started exploring destinations for exporting globally-certified personal protective equipment (PPE) in a bid to help the world fight the novel coronavirus.
In this competitive market, it’s really hard to make out profit from the price. Buyers are giving price $1.10 for non-woven fabrics PPE said Jubaer Hossain Asif.
Currently, we are 40% occupied. We had to face order cancellation of around $1,40,000, where we have invested in fabrics knitting, dyeing and also some goods got ready.
