AMA Herbal partners with Sameet Dye-Chem to promote sustainable solution for textile dyeing

On 30th April Sameet Dye-Chem Ltd and AMA Herbal Laboratories Pvt Ltd have announced their partnership and collaboration agreement to start marketing and promotion of natural dyes;  provide ecological and sustainable solution for Bangladesh apparel industry.

Syed Iqbal Rizvi, Managing Director of Sameet Dye-Chem Ltd said, “We are extremely privileged and proud of this partnership because AMA Herbal Laboratories Pvt Ltd is simply the world leader in producing commercially viable natural dyes for textile dyeing which contributes saving the environment, human being, and our mother earth.”

“The world is returning towards nature. So, the textile world is also extensively working to go with organic, eco-friendly solution which has zero or low impact on nature. Brands, as well as manufacturers, are busy thinking about how to be 100% sustainable by 2025,” he said.

Syed Iqbal further added, “In this regard, the unique product of AMA Herbal Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. has opened a new door for denim and apparel manufacturers to make sustainable products and get recognition of producing high end, value added garments too.”

Yawer Ali Shah, CEO and Co-Founder of AMA Herbal Laboratories Pvt Ltd said in his closing speech, “As a part of our company’s ‘Best out of Waste’ practice, we give priority using raw materials which are by-products or discards after use. We are also involved in CSR by generating employment for thousands associated with this activity.”

“As Bangladesh is the 2nd largest apparel exporter in the world, so we think partnership with Sameet Dye-Chem Ltd at this juncture will be a big opportunity to start positive initiative towards sustainability in the Bangladesh textile industry and contribute our part for better tomorrow,” he added.

AMA Herbal is specialized in the successful commercialization of extract form of natural dyes formulation those are used in cotton, wool, and silk. Their natural dyes are certified by Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) Version V by Control Union of Netherlands and registered with REACH.

AMA Herbal products are exported to more than 32 countries across the world, including the USA, Europe, and Asian Countries. Company’s turnover is increasing at a rate of 70-80% every year for the last three years in a row.
