Silken Sewing Ltd. bags LEED Platinum certification

Silken Sewing Ltd. received LEED certification by United States Green Building Council (USGBC) with the score of 92 which made this an environment friendly green factory in the Bangladesh.

Silken Sewing is a knit apparel manufacturing with the vision of having one of the regarded & trusted home for the Apparel manufacturing in the world.

Silken Sewing which is located in Gazipur, started its journey in 2008, now they have more than 2000 members and their annual turnover $25 million.

Also, it has further diversified and expending its production range towards the outerwear & sportswear areas.

The company has signed an agreement with the Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority (BEZA) for the lease of the land and will invest 9 million dollars to build an export-oriented knitted dyed fabric industry there that will create employment for 1200 people.
