After two years, SIMA organized Texfair 2022, 13th edition in its series during June 24-27, 2022 at CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

More than 220 exhibitors will display the machinery and accessories in 300+ stalls, and the important part will be on import substitution, told Ravi Sam, Chairman and S.K. Sundararaman, Deputy Chairman, SIMA.
Union Minister for Textiles Piyush Goyal will inaugurate the 13th edition of the event.
The exhibition will be a platform for the introduction of around 50 products.
Besides that the business generated from the previous edition of the fair was worth Rs. 1,000 crore, but this year is expected to touch Rs. 1,500 crore.
According to SK Sundararaman, for any textile machinery, the waiting period now is at least six months. The demand for textile machinery has shot up.
On average, a textile mill invests 2.5 percent to 3 percent of its annual sales turnover in spares and accessories, and 4 percent to 6 percent in modernization.
SIMA chairman Ravi Sam said, “Texfair-2022 will be an ideal platform for the mills to zero in on their requirements, meet suppliers under one roof and prudently plan their investments, cut costs and improve quality of products.”
