SM Sourcing steps up for green building project

SM Sourcing, a 100% export-oriented garments manufacturing company, was established in 2013 with a vision to contribute towards the growth of Bangladesh as the second-largest textile industry in the world. Now, SM has decided to go green. SM Sourcing’s commitment to environmental sustainability is unprecedented and the entire group has decided to go for USGBC (LEED) certification.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony was held on 2nd March 2020 at 360 TSL office between SM sourcing and 360 TSL Green Consultancy Services for USGBC (LEED) certifications.

SM Sourcing, a company that mainly works with several reputed buyers from Europe and Japan have partnered with several other vendors as their production partner is committed to quality. SM recently received the prestigious “Best Supplier of The Year” award from one of Europe’s largest and fastest-growing retail brands.

“Out of our current 170 odd ongoing projects, most are garment factories. We have already visited SM sourcing factory and hope that they will get Platinum m point with our consultancy,” continued Ananta Ahmed.
