SMART Merchandisers Forum’s get-together held

SMART Merchandisers Forum (SMF) arranged a get-together at Uttara in the capital on 30 October, 2020. About 100 merchandisers (members) of different companies were present at get together program.

SMF was established on 26 March 2019 in Bangladesh as a non-political professional organization of the merchandisers. SMF has become the leading merchandiser’s association of Bangladesh right now.

The get together program was arrangement by Sohel Arman, Founder and CEO of SMF where AKM Saifur Rahman Forhad, Head of the Merchandising and Marketing, Member: BGMEA & BGBA was present as the chief guest.

Kamruzzaman Sordar, ADC Uttara Zone Bangladesh Police; Shamim Ahasan, General Manager, Merchandising and Marketing, Vision Group were present as special guest.

AKM Saifur Rahman Forhad said that a merchandiser is the bridge between the industry and the buyer. Merchandisers should create a good relationship in between exporter and buyer.

He suggested merchandisers not to search always job, rather, need to create themselves as entrepreneur, said Forhad.

The organization started its activities with the confidence of Bangladesh garment industry’s merchandisers. The door of membership of SMF is open for all the merchandisers in Bangladesh, Said Sohel Arman.

“In future we will create 100 merchandisers forum from 100 companies,” added Sohel.

Rahman International, Maa Label & Accessories, Best Accessories, Sinha Accessories were the sponsors for the get together program.

The program was ended with cutting cake and light dinner.
