One of the foremost and iconic readymade garment (RMG) factories in Bangladesh – Ananta Companies has yet again initiated a sustainable step to achieve a new mileage. Recently at its premises, Ananta Companies and Solar EPC Development Ltd. (SEPC) signed an MoU to set up a rooftop solar project with the capacity of 01 MWp in its factories.
On the occasion Inamul Haq Khan (Bablu), Managing Director of Ananta Companies and Director BGMEA, CIP Bangladesh Government and Ezaz Al Qudrat A Mazid, Founder & Managing Director, Solar EPC signed an agreement on behalf of the respective organizations.
Inamul Haq Khan has an experience of 25 years in the RMG sector. He has played a leading role in the industry forming highly efficient and productive Ananta factories. Inamul Haq Khan is also a CIP.
Solar EPC will develop and implement rooftop solar projects at Ananta Garments Ltd., Ananta Jeanswear Ltd. & Paradise Washing Ltd. within four months.
Annually the project is estimated to generate 12850000 kWh electricity. With an estimated annual carbon reduction of 980 tons.
